Hailing from the Pacific Northwest, Escapade was just five years old when he first had dreams of pursuing a career in filmmaking. Born and raised in Tacoma Washington, he began his musical journey as a kid learning to play piano, guitar, and saxophone, later going on to lead his church youth group in music. In 2007, Escapade was accepted to The Los Angeles Film School and moved to Los Angeles to study film directing. After graduating, he began to work in reality tv until he lost his job during the Recession. Unable to find work, he decided to pursue a career in music as a hip hop producer.
Six years later, Escapade has released numerous artist collaborations, song placements, and beat tapes. His music is inspired by funk, jazz, blues, hip hop, disco, electronic, and psychedelic and has gotten placements on Keeping Up With The Kardashians, The Real World, Bad Girls Club, Revolt TV, commercials, and more. Now considering himself agnostic, Escapade describes his music as “sustenance for your soul” and devotes his time to supporting various homeless and low-income charities. Today, Escapade is continuing to produce as much as ever and preparing his first commercial release in over two years.
